Ramai orang yang bertanya nak beli windows vista ke atau XP. Kalau nak tau boleh check kat sini , dia bandingkan kedua-duanya dalam beberapa kategori. Keputusannya: Vista yang canggih manggih hanya menang tipis keatas XP yg dah tua bangka, kalau ikut tahun komputer la.(klik sini untuk artikel menarik mengenai Operating system ini). Dua masalah terbesar Vista adalah performance dan responsiveness. In both areas, roughly half of the survey respondents claim Vista is worse than XP. “Performance on single-core systems is poor to very poor – having to wait 30-50 seconds for the Windows menu to open at times is very frustrating,” complains David Wright. “Performance is slow on a dual-core processor with 2.5GB of RAM,” moans James Noe, with the Aero interface and copying files often singled out for causing slow-downs.
So, nak beli Vista ke tak? Kalau ikut sayalah, saya tunggu Windows 7. (which according to the above article... will actually be more like Windows Vista Service Pack 2) — that will be faster, simpler, and perhaps released in 2009.
